This plug-in is an IP server that allows other programs to connect and exchange information with OSS 2000 via a TCP/IP network.
Many of our other programs will require this plug-in to be installed into OSS 2000 in order to function.
Built into this plug-in is a complete Web Server that can deliver OSS 2000 schematics across an intranet or the Internet to people using Microsoft's Internet Explorer 4.01 or later.
If you download and install this plug-in from the link above, the Web Server part will initially be enabled for 2 concurrent users and will deliver content to users for 10 minutes before disabling the Web Server.
Key Features
Users can then view and adjust values on schematics from their web browser without any installation hassle. As an application example, users could adjust the heating and lighting for their office area from the PC on their desktop. The Web Server can be configured to handle upto 150 concurrent users. This means that 150 people can be connected at the same time. When a user logs off their connection becomes available for another user. If you wish to permanently enable the Web Server section of the Network Data Server you will need to purchase a concurrent user license. These are available in the following sizes:

Although not a plug-in this program works together with the NDS 2000 plug-in to provide telephone access to OSS 2000 for upto 128 incoming phone lines (either external or internal exchange lines).
Once installed, users or engineers can call into OSS 2000 from any touch tone telephone in the world to adjust and retrieve values in the control system.
Access to parameters can be controlled by a password system and users are prompted with the use of user recorded voice messages.
Users can also leave messages for the site engineer.
As an application example, users could adjust the heating and lighting for their office area from the telephone on their desktop or engineers out on the road can make adjustments to plant and retrieve diagnostic information from wherever they may be.
This program runs on its own PC and connects to the OSS 2000 PC via a TCP/IP network.
